    My paternal grandmother, Teruko Shiono, was a special guest on Mister Roger's Neighborhood in 1985, and I'm her paternal granddaughter. The legacy she left on the show and throughout her life is admirable and one I aspire to fulfill in my own unique way.

    Temple Grandin has been instrumental in helping individuals on the autism spectrum like myself recognize their potential and that each and every one of us is different, but not less.

  • Chester Bennington (Linkin Park lead singer)

    Much of the themes in Linkin Park's songs revolve around feelings of loneliness and battling one's inner demons. Having experienced feelings of loneliness and struggling to figure out who I am makes the messages much more relatable on a personal level.
